This adapter connects to compatible Vehicle Communication Interfaces (VCIs) and allows Autel tablets to diagnose vehicles using the faster and more reliable CAN Flexible Data-Rate (CAN FD) protocol.

Note: Autel's latest MaxiSYS tablet releases—MaxiSYS Ultra, MaxiSYS 919, and MaxiSYS 909—come with enhanced VCIs that support CAN FD and other new protocols out of the box, eliminating the need for the CAN FD Adapter.
