Jaltest Multibrand Diagnostics introduces its latest innovation: the new 7-pin PLC adapter designed for trailer ABS diagnostics, featuring support for J2497 Power Line Carrier communications (PLC).
This adapter enhances the capabilities of Jaltest, offering comprehensive ABS trailer functionalities, including:
- Diagnosis and error clearing
- Live data monitoring
- ECU data retrieval
- Component actuations for modulators and lamps
- Access to system technical data
- System configuration options (2S/1M, 2S/2M, etc.)
- System checks for speed sensors and voltages
The T-shaped SAE J560 adapter (7-way) facilitates testing of J1587 MIDs 136, 137, 138, 139, 246, and 247.
ABS trailer coverage extends to systems from leading manufacturers such as Bendix, Haldex, Meritor Wabco, and Wabash.
Note:
The Jaltest JDC 112A Adapter offers two connection options for trailer diagnostics:
1. With tractor present (powered via vehicle connection)
2. Without the tractor present (requires external power supply - JDC 40AM2)
